» Back Like I Never Left - An Interview With Thomas B aka ArrowAndBowman
"I like the trademarks, but you need to post more often." -T. StevensIn all honesty, I never thought anyone read a line of the text I put down on this blog so I only posted when I really felt the need to express something that bothered, inspired, or befuddled me. But now that I know that some of you dumb dumbs are actually reading, I think I may step up the posts. So let me catch you up to what Thomas B aka ArrowandBowman has been up to?
------
Interviewer: So where you been man? The streets have been waiting for the next ArrowAndBowman design to show up in the world!
ANB: Honestly, I been everywhere and no where. It's funny how times flies and you can't account for what you were doing for most of the time. What I can tell you is that I became a f*cking grownup bogged down with work. Not the designs you all are used to.
Interviewer: That's cool and all but what's going on in the form of your designs?! Like I said before, we want to know when we're going to see something from you and soon.
ANB: Well I mean I got a couple things going down on the side as far design goes. There's this shoe store in Royal Oak, MI that I'm working with to make some changes to and there's a club in Kansas City that'll be popping up in the coming year or so. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm always in something somewhere but things are going a little slower than I imagined. The chef is still in the kitchen. Things are just taking a little longer to brew than expected.
Interviewer: Can we see some of the ingredients to your work? Just a taste of what you've been working on? I heard through my source that you have some pictures of one of the projects.
ANB: Of course man. You know I always share with my people. But like always - You steal, I kill. Point blank. Hold up a minute ... *shuffling noises* ... found 'em. Here's a couple of the photos:
Interviewer: I see you out here on the low but still doing your thing man! Why you holding out on us so much! Those photos look dope and I'm sure you have some more that you aren't going to share.
ANB: You know me all to well my man. I can't give up everything but I would like to thank the people over at B*** R***** for allowing me the opportunity to help them out. Hopefully this well evolve into more designs where A&B and B*** R***** do business. Lots of respect for them dudes.
Interviewer: Indeed man. Can you show us some of the club that's going to be in Kansas City?
ANB: Actually I can't. That project is still is it's schematic design phases and if I showed you anything from that, you'd know how I think and I can't have my most precious asset, my mind, on display for people to borrow ideas. But I can tell you that the people of Kansas City are going to be hearing and seeing this place a lot.
Interviewer: Understandable. Gotta protect that which makes you great. Right?
ANB: Something like that.
Interviewer: Anything else you want to say before we wrap up man?
ANB: Oh of course man! Shout out to my twitter family that follows and comments on my random musings. You can find me @arrowandbowman on twitter. Also be on the lookout for some of my new work on a smaller scale. Couple furniture pieces and some photography that myself and my brother (@bowmandynasty) are doing. If you need some work done you can always get in contact with me on my blog: arrowandbowman.blogspot.com or contact me at arrowandbowman@gmail.com. Got some designing to do? Let's make it happen. ArrownandBowman out.
